cause it works pretty good. I used to use my dads floor jack, but had to drive up on a 2x4 first. Now I use the stock jack, it's nice an low and slides right under with no driving on blocks first, and its pretty easy to crank(or screw). If you jack up the back from the diff. then its a little harder to use than a floor, because of the distance under the car, but still better because with my kit, I still have to go on blocks for the back for clearance probs. Just my 2 cents. :)
